Will ATI Radeon鈩?HD 2400 Series support Crysis....?Will ATI Radeon鈩?HD 2400 Series support Crysis?
Hi,
Possibly... what amount of ram is on the card as Crysis requires at least 128meg.
I've checked the ATI site but it doesn't seem to list that info?
If it is the 128meg version then yes it should do but don't expect good performance from it.

Could I use PColor ATI HD 2600XT 512MB DDR3 128bit to play Crysis or Call of Duty 4?
Help!!!Could I use PColor ATI HD 2600XT 512MB DDR3 128bit to play Crysis or Call of Duty 4?
Absolutely. For COD4 you should be able to get pretty decent performance at 1024 x 768, or 1280 x 800 if it's wide screen. Crysis is rough on cards. You should be fine at 1024 x 768, though, with "Medium" settings. I would run it in DirectX 9 mode, even in Vista, as DX10 mode uses a lot more GPU power.

Will crysis run on high setting or on medium with Visiontek Radeon HD 3870 512mb?
i have heard alot about the Visiontek Radeon HD 3870 and i was wondering if it would run well with crysis. My systems specs are
2.93 GHz processor pentium 4, 1.49GB ram, windows xp. If anyone has this video card and crysis can you tell me how it runs i would appriciate thanksWill crysis run on high setting or on medium with Visiontek Radeon HD 3870 512mb?
I have an intel Core 2 duo 2.4GHz
2GB of Ram

And I can run Crysis on High Settings no problem at all
The only thing holding you back is your processor.
So you should be able to run it at Medium on yours.
but a processor upgrade is strongly recommendedWill crysis run on high setting or on medium with Visiontek Radeon HD 3870 512mb?
Itll probably hiccup a bit on high. Will crysis run on high setting or on medium with Visiontek Radeon HD 3870 512mb?
High settings is a no-no for this system you have. Barely any computer can run Crysis on high. Not even having a quadxtreme processor w/ a pair of GeForce 8800Ultra in SLI will run it on the highest settings. That's the amazing thing about the game's creation, but future hardware will be able to run it perfectly. As for your system specs, you really want to increase your ram, because 1.5 GB of Ram is a very unsafe option for Crysis. As for your gfx card, it should run somewhere between low/medium (you should play with the graphics settings in the game).

could it handle maxed out with 4gigs of RAM and a i7 2600k?Can a ASUS radeon HD 6670 play crysis 2 maxed?
LOL no. It wouldn't max out Crysis 2. You can run it a mostly medium settings. If you want to max it out you need starting thinking more along the lines of a Radeon 6950 or GTX 570.
The 6670 is a low-medium end card.

What fps I will get in Crysis 2 with HD 5770?
I want to play Crysis 2 with my 1GB GDDR5 DX11 HD 5770 graphic card.
My PC specs-
Intel Core i5-2500(3.3GHz to 3.7GHz, Quad Core, Sandy Bridge, 6MB cache)
4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM
250GB 6.0Gb/s SATA Hard Drive
How much fps I will get in Crysis 2 with hd 5770 with the above specs at the following resolutions?
1.)1024x768
2.)1600x900
3.)1920x1080
How much fps I will get in GTA 4, HAWX 2, NFS:Hot Pursuit with the same specs and the resolutions mentioned above? What fps I will get in Crysis 2 with HD 5770?
60-80 fps on 1024x768 using HD or DVI (monitor or television)
80-100 fps on 1600x900 using a HD monitor or television (HDMI Cable or DVI)
100-120 fps on 1920x1080 using a HD monitor or television.
Intel Core i5 is good for gaming, 4GB is the standard requirement to play all games up until now, I'll give your computer an overall score 8/10.
With those specs you will also be able to play Battlefield 3 (when it comes out) in medium-highest setting. What fps I will get in Crysis 2 with HD 5770?
Depends on if your set it at Gamer, Advanced or Harcore detail. Hardcore is the highest, BTW. This is all in DX10 mode. DX11 mode will be downloadable on Monday. When ever you go to a higher resolution monitor you will lose FPS.
The 5770 is playable in Gamer setting.
Gamer:
1024x768 = 60fps
1600X900 = 46fps
1920x1080 = 40fps.
You will take a 20%-25% performance hit by going to Advanced. Crysis 2 is still somewhat playable at advanced setting using a 1080p monitor and a 5770. This is with AA turned off. Also, there are average FPS, not the low. What fps I will get in Crysis 2 with HD 5770?

I'm running Crysis Warhead with Entusiasth on 1440x900(max. resolution for my monitor) and I have an average of 18 FPS.AA is off.
Why do I have such a low FPS?I was expecting a 25 FPS average or somthing.Low FPS Crysis Warhead with HD 5850?
Crysis Warhead is not only a GPU-intensive, but also a CPU and RAM-intensive game. In other words, all your components must be very high-end. I would suggest another 4GB of RAM and either a new CPU or an overclocking of your current CPU to around 3GHz (or ideally 4GHz if your processor can take it).
Even with those upgrades you can never really know what performance you'll get out of Crysis/Crysis Warhead, they are probably the most poorly optimized PC games ever made.
It's an expensive thing to do and you could still get poor FPS on highest settings. The only way to be sure would to have the very BEST graphics card, RAM, CPU and power supply.Low FPS Crysis Warhead with HD 5850?
try lowering your settings -and watch your frame rate go up

I think you mean 68C....yes that is a fine temp...no worries...if you wanna run the card cooler open up the Catalyst Control Center and click on ATI overdrive, put a check mark in the "Enable manual fan control" and turn the fan speed up....it should be at 30% default, crank it up to 70-80% while gaming, that will reduce the temps fairly well....when done gaming just slide the slider back to 30%....

It depends on the graphics card, but for a newer card like that, 68 degrees is fine, especially if you're playing a game like that. Some cards are fine up to even 80C, and I would imagine that that card is more than capable of handling 70 degree heat. Please help! my new his radeon hd 5670 1gb video card is running at 68 degrees while playing crysis ?
68 degrees are not a problem,my 8500 was running at 60 on idle and 75 on games, until a bought a 5770 and now it runs 50 on games and 45 idle, but it's sapphire, which is the best brand for cool cards.

Sapphire HD 2600 XT 512mb graphics card able to play Crysis?
Im not talking top quality here, but run it on even minimum settings?Sapphire HD 2600 XT 512mb graphics card able to play Crysis?
It will definitely run Crysis, with medium settings (maybe some high), as long as you keep the resolution at around 1280X1024 or lower.
In fact, there are some youtube videos of people playing Crysis with their 2600XT's
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcvJklGpV鈥?/a>
All Settings "Medium", Resolution 1280*1024, DX9
You can buy the 2600XT for just $55 right now with mail-in rebate at Newegg. Maybe even cheaper if you shop around.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
If you do get it, make sure to get GDDR3 RAM versions (stay away from the GDDR2 versions as they are slower)
Of course, a better video card will run Crysis better. If you can afford it, you might consider getting an HD 3850, or a GeForce 9600GT. These are two cards within the $110-$150 pricerange that should run Crysis quite a bit better than the 2600XT

Will game run as well on my big hard drive as on my small one??Two hard drives,(15 Gb-283Gb) Will Crysis(10GBish) work just as well installed on the small HD?
As long as there is enough free space on the hard drive, there should be no reason that a larger hard drive would effect the playing of a game. I have movies and games on a 1TB drive and they work great!

No, you wouldn't be able to run Crysis on max resolution with with maximum/enthusiast settings with AA %26amp; AF fully on. You'll probably get around 40-50fps on Mainstream (a.k.a. medium) settings with no AA, no AF at 1280 x 1024 resolution.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250, is this graphics card good enough to run crysis 2?
i just bought a new laptop from best buy i know that the processor is fast enough and that i have enough ram for this game but i am not sure about the graphics card. I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250. The games says that it needs a ATi 3850 HD. So is my graphics card good enough or not? Any feedback would be much appreciated.ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250, is this graphics card good enough to run crysis 2?
What you have is an intergrated video adapter, it's a not an actual card, it's just chip on the motherboard. It's not suitable for gaming. The 3850 is much, much faster. When it comes to video cards a higher number isn't necessarily an indicator of better performance. For ATI the first number in the name of the card is the series or generation of the card, the second number is that card's place in the hierarchy of the series, and it's the better gauge of the the performance level of the card, the last two numbers where the card is in the sub hierarchy.
In your case, the 4250 is a 4th generation GPU (in the naming scheme ATI is using at this time), but the 2 indicates that it's a low end part. Where as the 3850 is a 3rd generation GPU, but the 8 is indicative that's one of the fastest 3rd generation GPU's and will likely be much faster than 42xx or even a 54xx card.
Here's a chart that shows where various video cards stack up

Not at all. You have an integrated graphics chip, not a proper card. Sorry, but your laptop won't be able to play Crysis 2 and no, you can't install or upgrade your graphics card either.ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250, is this graphics card good enough to run crysis 2?
Yes it will run the game but very slowly and you will suerly not enjoy the game.

if combined with the right hardware?Would the ati radeon hd 5650 be able to play crysis warhead at highest levels over 30 fps?
sure, if i recall that is that it a somewhat aged game.
im not experienced with radeons im not sure anymore with what card compares to nvidias, but i have 260gtx and im positive that game would run at least 70-90 fps, with 1920 - 1200 res, just make sure you have vsnyc off while playing.

Will ATI Radeon HD 4870 Run Crysis Warfare Fast ?
I Am Planning To Buy AMD Phenom II x4 Quad Core Black Edition 3.0 Ghz Processor With Ati Radeon HD 4870 1GB. Will This Graphics Card Run All The Games Including Crysis Warfare Fast Without Lag Or Any Framerate ProblemsWill ATI Radeon HD 4870 Run Crysis Warfare Fast ?
Yes it will as long as you don't play in High resolutions. Will ATI Radeon HD 4870 Run Crysis Warfare Fast ?
The HD 4870 1GB will run Crysis: Warhead on Extreme settings with 4x MSAA at around 30 FPS @ 790/900. Crysis and Crysis: Warhead will run smooth at a consistent 25 FPS (something I haven't seen from any other fist person shooter game). Without MSAA you should be well above 30 FPS.Will ATI Radeon HD 4870 Run Crysis Warfare Fast ?
I assume you mean Crysis Warhead/Wars. Now, that card can run Crysis very well, at medium setting depending on your resolution. 1680 x 1080 or up and it will become unplayable at high, as in 10 or 15FPS. But, below 1680 x 1050 should yield about 40FPS on high as long as you don't turn any filters on. Oh, and this is in gamer settings, not enthusiast.

Is Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 1GB good enough to play games like crysis & fallout 2?
If not, please suggest an alternative card at a similar price range. Is Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 1GB good enough to play games like crysis %26amp; fallout 2?
Yup. It's one of the best budget cards around.
By the way, you can save up a bit more by going for a 512MB version, as it'll make no difference in performance whatsoever. 1GB memory on budget cards is just a marketing gimmick.
If you are spending in the region of $90 however, an even better card would the HD 5670 512MB which would definitely give superior performance. It's more of a proper gaming card.Is Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 1GB good enough to play games like crysis %26amp; fallout 2?

I was wondering can GeForce 9800 GTX+ run HD games like crysis and GTA IV?
HI i will buy a new GeForce 9800 GTX+ Graphics card so i was wondering can the GeForce 9800 GTX+ run HD games like crysis and GTA IV
i have intel core 2 duo E7200 2.5
4 GB of ram
650 watt power supply
note : i will not use SLI i will only use one 9800 GTX+ card not moreI was wondering can GeForce 9800 GTX+ run HD games like crysis and GTA IV?
I run a 9800 GTX+ on Crysis with all max settings at 1680x1050 at about 25 fps if that helps
Specs:
Phenom x3 2.11 ghz
4 gigs 1066 OCZ ddr2
XFX 750a mobo
550 watt ps
also, the card runs very cool. It idols around 80 degrees F and ive never seen it go above 130-140 F
I have one of those cards, runs well, with your CPU you should be able to run crysis on high settings. But not so well in gta, it is very CPU dependent and the game may find it lacking.
Also, if you really want to you can overclock your graphics card and probably reach max settings in crysis.I was wondering can GeForce 9800 GTX+ run HD games like crysis and GTA IV?
how big is your screen? on 22 inch It should be able to play both on high depending how good your ram is. For gta iv though im not sure if it can handle max in everything cause gta iv really eats up your graphic card no matter how good it is. I use the 9800 GT OC and i can only reach medium graphic settings and only 40 % detailed distance before it says my graphic card limit is up.
Yes. I run Crysis without it slowing down on high graphics (not on max, but close enough). I also play fallout 3, Dirt, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 2, Mirrors Edge, and COD5 all maxed out without it slowing down. a 9800 GTX+ is one of the best single GPU video cards out.I was wondering can GeForce 9800 GTX+ run HD games like crysis and GTA IV?
Pretty beefy card. The GTX's can handle the heat for most top end games. I have an 8600GTS, and can run Crysis on high graphics, and with a few mediums selected (texture and water) just not Very High.

Why does everyone want to play Crysis? Just because it's a graphical benchmark (not to mention a resource hog) doesn't mean it's a good game (which it really isn't).
To answer your question, you're going to need to drop at least 2 grand to play Crysis at a decent level on a laptop. What laptop with AMD processor I have to buy to play HD games such as Crysis?
Crysis sets the bar for FPS game and that's why so many people love it.
There are many models there such as ASUS G71. All depends on what's your budget, Check the source for details...

Is the ati radeon hd 4200 graphics card good for modern games such as crysis warhead and fear 2?
i was planning on buying the ati radeon hd 5750 graphics card, how much better is that graphics card than th 4200Is the ati radeon hd 4200 graphics card good for modern games such as crysis warhead and fear 2?
There's no comparision between a cheap built-in video chipset like the 4200 and a midrange gaming card. The 5750 is easily 5X better. However if you're wanting to play Crysis Warhead I suggest skipping the 5750, it's too close in price to the 5770.
The Radeon 5750 costs around $140 on average, but it's slightly slower than the GTS 250. The Radeon 4770 and 4850 run almost as fast as the 5750, but cost about $100. Those other cards don't support DX11 but currently that's no big deal.

It would be ok for low/medium settings at low screen resolutions, like 1280x1024 or lower. For 1440x900 or higher resolution, you'll need a faster card. For high settings you'll need a faster card, even at 1280x1024.

and also how long do yo think this card will be able to play new games on at least medium settings? do u think i will need an upgrade before a year? Will the ati radeon HD 3870 x2 run crysis and latest games on high settings?
Yes. If my memory is correct, the min frame-rate at 1600x1200 is 15 fps at all high settings. Ideally, you want a min 20 to not notice any slow down. In this case, 15 is close enough. You might notice some, but still very playable.
Side Note: You cannot rely on average frame rates. The game could slow down to 2 fps at some point in the test. Your eyes would see it as slow down. At other points in the test, the fps could be 120 which your eyes won't notice. The human eye max out at 60 fps for most people. Will the ati radeon HD 3870 x2 run crysis and latest games on high settings?
Are you kidding me??!!! It will run it damn smooth on high-very high settings! Go for it dude.

Which is Best GeForce 9800 GT or ATI HD 48500 For Playing Crysis and Why?
hi i was wandering Which is Best GeForce 9800 GT or ATI HD 4850 For Playing Crysis and Why
because i will buy one soon and i don't know which one to buy
and dose the Graphics card Performance measure by how many cores it have or by its memory or what.Which is Best GeForce 9800 GT or ATI HD 48500 For Playing Crysis and Why?
The ATI Radeon 4850 is waaaaay better than the 9800 GT. It's also slightly better than the 9800GTX but sliiiiiightly worse than the 9800GTX+.
Info on how the 9800gt is a joke (Rebranded 8800gt)

Toms Hardware Graphics Hierarchy Chart:

Get the 4850, it's A LOT better than the 9800gt. ATI cards deal better with higher resolutions and AA, but have slightly less mature drivers. They draw less power, but tend to have slightly worse heating solutions. Ignore the Nvidia fanboy morons, they tend not to know what they're talking about. Both are fantastic card manufacturers, and it boils down to which card is better, not which brand is better.Which is Best GeForce 9800 GT or ATI HD 48500 For Playing Crysis and Why?
I will go with the GeForce not because im an NVIDIA fan but because Geforce has always been good to video gamers!
ATI HD4850 over performed the GeForce9800 but not enough to say WOW! the bad par is that the ATI card over heats a lot!
so i will rater go with NVIDIA!

Actually, yes. Take a look at this review:
http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardwa鈥?/a>
Notice that the HD5970 pulls out 40fps @ 2560x1600. 40FPS may seem low, but it's actually not for Crysis due to it's motion blur effects. I would imagine it would slow down in some parts, however.
I hope this helps!

What will be the problem if I play crysis on Intel HD graphics?
What will be the problem exactly ?? will the results be pathetic , will it lag too much or will it just not start even??
I have i5 - 520 M 2.4 GHz so just wanted to ask before buyingWhat will be the problem if I play crysis on Intel HD graphics?
unplayable intel's new HD graphics are only meant for blu-ray playback not for games especially Crysis, you would be mad to think it will even run on a small 45nm stiched GPU on to the die of a cpu. Nvidia or ATI would be the smart choice, Good question tho
Good Luck
Actually it might be somewhat playable on minimum settings.
If it even runs, you'll be in slideshow mode (0-10 frames per second).
i dont think it will even start... a intregaded graphic card is only so you can use your computer for work things, meaning word nothing else, you wont be able to play any games at all on it mby the hlf2 source games and things like that but not more then soWhat will be the problem if I play crysis on Intel HD graphics?
Chances are you will get lots of lags.
Note that when it comes to gaming, the ram and the video ram are just as important as the clockspeed of the processor
intel graphics are not even remotely designed for gaming. You may somehow trick the game into starting with your cpu but you'll have about 3 fps on lowest settings

Do you think that HD 4870x2 can run Crysis Warhead smoothly with 16x anti-aliasing?
I'm always seeing benchmark videos playing Crysis Warhead with just only two or four times anti-aliasing.. I think they're just doing it to know the maximum frame per second HD 4870X2 can handle w/out aa.. Can the card play Crysis Warhead with 16x aa smoothly?Do you think that HD 4870x2 can run Crysis Warhead smoothly with 16x anti-aliasing?
I have a 4870X2, as for your question it depends on the resolution. At 16x AA you're pretty much out of luck unless you really turn the detail down. At 4xAA you can play it at Enthusiast (highest) at 1440x900 and it be playable, any higher resolution and it's really laggy. With no AA, 1680x1050 is fine, 1920x1200 is kind of manageable, the game is hopeless at 2560x1600 unless you choose gamer, and even then it's not perfect.
Before you get too disappointed, The HD4870X2 still beats the GTX280 hands down at the game, at least in Vista. XP performance of this game is abysmal with the X2.Do you think that HD 4870x2 can run Crysis Warhead smoothly with 16x anti-aliasing?
no fcken way , my 9800gt can run it 4X max it its a fairly good card, 16 X is ridiculous , 4 X ii have no lag and i tried onto 8 , and 8 was unplayably laggy , i very much doubt u cud go 16

How will Crysis 2 look with HD 6790 at 1600x900 resolution?
I want to play Crysis 2 with my MSi hd 6790.
I Want to buy a Samsun 22" LED Monitor with 1600x900 resolution. That monitor has a D-sub port(VGA port). But I will use the DVI to VGA adapter given with the graphics card.
How will be the graphics quality? Will the display signals be analog or digital? How will Crysis 2 look with HD 6790 at 1600x900 resolution?
Your card should be able to handle Crysis 2 pretty well at that resolution. You should get close to 30fps on Ultra with a few occasional drops.
As for the analog/digital thing, there is no difference in quality whatsoever.
