Would an i5 750 be almost equal to the i7 920 if they're both using HD 5970 and running Crysis?

To be more specific would the i5 750 be only a few frame rates behind when using the currently the fastest GPU? How about the Phenom x4 965?Would an i5 750 be almost equal to the i7 920 if they're both using HD 5970 and running Crysis?
