This is the system I have:
GPU:HIS ATi Radeon HD 5850 1GB
CPU:AMD Phenom x4 9850 2,50 ghz
RAM:2x2 GB DDR2 800 mhz Kingston
HDD:320 GB Seagate 7200RPM
OS:Windows 7 Ultimate x64
I'm running Crysis Warhead with Entusiasth on 1440x900(max. resolution for my monitor) and I have an average of 18 FPS.AA is off.
Why do I have such a low FPS?I was expecting a 25 FPS average or somthing.Low FPS Crysis Warhead with HD 5850?
Crysis Warhead is not only a GPU-intensive, but also a CPU and RAM-intensive game. In other words, all your components must be very high-end. I would suggest another 4GB of RAM and either a new CPU or an overclocking of your current CPU to around 3GHz (or ideally 4GHz if your processor can take it).
Even with those upgrades you can never really know what performance you'll get out of Crysis/Crysis Warhead, they are probably the most poorly optimized PC games ever made.
It's an expensive thing to do and you could still get poor FPS on highest settings. The only way to be sure would to have the very BEST graphics card, RAM, CPU and power supply.Low FPS Crysis Warhead with HD 5850?
try lowering your settings -and watch your frame rate go up
never understood we people think they can play all intense games on max
